This is the beginning of a conversation of mutual discernment. The following is a proposal for your attendance. We (the planning team including Benzi, Clara, Jenn, Kelli, Lily, and Xaan) will be evaluating your proposal and sending you one of 3 response options (Updated for the deadline extension and its compressed timeline): Welcome! It seems like you’re a good fit for the space we are trying to create: let’s talk details. It seems like you would probably be a good fit but we feel we need a bit more information or would like to address a specific concern AND we feel we will be able to do so in a quick e-mail exchange before the event. We will ask for clarification and/or send you some reading materials and ask you to respond. (Please note that our decision will be based on your response. Others have been engaged in a process of mutual discernment over many months. If there is not enough time either for you to respond as thoroughly as needed or for us to address whatever we feel we need to address, we will invite you to consider us again for the next conference.) It seems that either: we do not have enough information to decide if you’re a good fit and/or we have a specific concern AND we do not feel we can properly address these issues in a quick e-mail exchange; OR you are not a good fit at this time for the space we are trying to create: Here are some resources if you want to learn more about what we mean by relationship anarchy. We hope you will continue engaging with the topic and consider us again for the next conference. We would also like to invite you to a workshop exploring ideas of autonomy and entitlement that are central to our understanding of relationship anarchy. We will try to respond as quickly as possible given the short timeline. We ask that you respond also as quickly as possible (or respond that you need more time).

We are exploring possibilities for live-captioning but please let us know if this is something you would want/need for yourself. We will also have digital "quiet" and/or meditation rooms. We are open to working with people around other accessibility concerns.
